Since 2018, Gather & Give has provided more than 2,700 adults and children with a warm winter coat and freshly cooked Thanksgiving meal. Hosted in Washington County, Pennsylvania, the event is open to any and all who may be in need, regardless of employment status, age, or residence.

 

Community members are invited to volunteer and donate to the cause by participating in day-of meal prep and service, volunteering during the coat distribution, preparing a turkey at home with their families, or making monetary contributions that will go toward the purchase of meal supplies and winter coats for the community. We also welcome participation in our gently used coat drives that will be hosted at local businesses.

Guest Registration: 

If you'd like to receive a winter coat and Thanksgiving meal, please register HERE. Be sure to register for the number of people you will bring with you -- all ages are welcome. Dinner will be served at 4:30 PM, with coat distribution following.

Volunteer Registration:

Register HERE to volunteer from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM. We recommend that all volunteers are at least 12 years old.

Bring-Your-Own-Bird (BYOB) Turkey Drop:

Volunteer to prepare a turkey at home that will be served to our neighbors in need by registering HERE. Please register multiple times if preparing more than one bird. Drop-off will take place from 12:30 PM- 1:30 PM on the day of the event.

Support the Annual New & Gently Used Coat Drives!

​

Each year, our community comes together to support Gather & Give by donating new and gently used coats that will be distributed to our neighbors who need it most. There are two ways to get involved with the annual drives:

1. Participate in the Digital Coat Drive by purchasing a coat through the Gather & Give online store sponsored by BeeGraphix. When you purchase a winter coat from this online store, BeeGraphix will match your donation by donating an identical coat for every one that is sold! These coats are warm and water-resistant; perfect for a Pittsburgh winter. 
    

2. Donate new or gently used coats by dropping them off at one of the following local businesses and organizations who have loyally supported the efforts of Gather & Give. Collection will take place October 12 - November 2.
